Accordingly, traceability is our keyword when considering the company dynamics: we ensure that all our raw materials come from accredited suppliers. Moreover, the production plants are audited regularly, the whole production process is supervised by inspectors, the final products are inspected, and the reports on quality are systematically sent to our costumers. We also control the cold chain from loading until the final destination by using a digital thermometer inside the containers.

Our Quality Control Management is based on the following bullet points:

  1. Raw Material Verification

Chain-of-custody documentation of all raw materials is rigorously checked and every detail of the purchase is controlled. It is not until all documentation about the fishery is verified that producers reach the next step.

  1. Producer Homologation

Our factory partners and their facilities are regularly audited to ensure they fulfill all the standards with HACCP plan, safety, water quality, documentation, certifications, cleanliness, manufacturing practices, equipment and infrastructure. They are homologized as producers when they pass these EASYFISH inspection protocols. In the case a factory scores low, we recommend corrective actions and re-check if they were applied; if not, they are finally eliminated as potential partners.

  1. Raw Material Inspection

Our inspectors carefully observe the raw material that will be used for our products. They specially focus on appearance and freshness, fishing methods, date of capture and storage conditions. If there are black spots in the traceability process or problems with the quality, the material is directly rejected.

  1. Processing Supervision

When the previous steps are checked and the raw material is ready for being processed, the factory’s standard practices and procedures are also supervised by our inspectors. In order to test that, the entire process of an ordered production is overseen.

  1. Finished Product Inspection

When half of the production is already done, we proceed to check if customers requests are correctly executed. The inspectors choose random samples and check packaging and labelling, size, physical characteristics, percentage of glazing, net weight, moisture content, presence of parasites, and also complete a final cooking test. The supervision is fully recorded by photos, and the corresponding report is sent to our customers.

  1. Loading Inspection

Our inspectors randomly choose other samples and recheck the products in the containers once the load is ready. This process is also fully recorded by photos, and the final report is sent. After it, officials fasten a seal to each container –an action that enables officials in the destination point to confirm that there had not been any tampering of the products. Government Health Officials are the only individuals authorized to break seals prior to delivery. All orders are traced, and the costumers have full online access to this information.

EASYFISH implements the whole process with professionalism, efficiency and transparency; values that are the spinal column of our Quality Control Management.
