In this recipe, white fish is dipped in a wonderful mixture of lemon, garlic and chili. The fish is then coated with a thin layer of flour and dipped in beaten egg before being fried to perfection, achieving a crispy, golden brown exterior. Enjoy this dish accompanied by refreshing lemon drops and a fresh salad!


  • Fillet of basa
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp chili bell pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation: 1.Add the lemon juice, garlic and chili to the fillets, making sure the ingredients evenly cover the fish. Cover the container with cling film or lid and place in the refrigerator. Allow to marinate for a cooling period varying from 15 to 30 minutes.

  1. In a medium bowl, place the flour. In another medium bowl, beat the eggs together with a tablespoon of water using a fork until smooth. Dredge each piece of fish first in the flour, shaking off the excess. Then dip the fish into the egg mixture.
  2. Heat approximately 3 cm of oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add the fish pieces to the pan and fry until crispy, golden brown and cooked through. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice on them to enhance their flavor and…. Ready to serve! You can accompany this delicious dish with a fresh salad or a portion of french fries.
